STAINLESS STEEL SINKS
Stainless steel sinks are durable and timeless.
Stainless steel is hygienic, easy to maintain and is perfect for
today’s kitchen. It is more durable that cast iron or porcelain and
highly resistant to heat, stains and rust. A stainless sink is also
easy on your dishes and glassware.
Our stainless steel sinks are made of heavy 304
stainless steel featuring 18/10 chrome/nickel content. Chromes give a
stainless steel sink it’s luster and durability while nickel adds
hardness and strength. They are 18 gauge. They have reinforced deck
bracing. The sprayed insulated coating and additional rubber pads
reduce sound and garbage disposal noise.
The satin finish is long lasting and is easy to
clean. After use, rinse thoroughly and wipe with a dry clean cloth.
Wiping is the most important thing you can do to keep your sink
in beautiful condition as it inhibits water spotting and
mineral deposits so common with hard water. We recommend Bar Keepers
Friend when extra care is required. Do not use abrasive cleaners such
as steel wool or scrub pads as they will dull the finish. Do not let
household cleaning products sit in your sink for a long period as they
can damage the finish of the sink.
Scratches are inevitable in any sink. Over time,
these scratches will become uniform with the sinks grain, adding
character much like the patina on fine silver. Minor scratches can be
softened with a soft scour pad and Bar Keepers Friend. Wet the pad,
rub vigorously with the grain of the finish. It is best to rub the
entire surface of the sink. Rinse thoroughly.
Sink
grids can also be purchased to help protect the bottom of the bowl
